[Annual Reports](https://www.sdhda.org/investors/annual-reports) - [Municipal Advisor Disclosure](https://www.sdhda.org/investors/municipal-advisor-disclosure) Your source for expert information on housing in South Dakota # Housing Management Officer Position Available at SDHDA For Immediate Release ![19-SDHousing-0673-Website-Maintenance_v2](https://info.sdhda.org/hs-fs/hubfs/19-SDHousing-0673-Website-Maintenance_v2.jpg?width=750&name=19-SDHousing-0673-Website-Maintenance_v2.jpg) December 3, 2019 SDHDA Contact: **[Tasha Jones](mailto:tasha@sdhda.org)** **Housing Management Officer Position Available** **DESCRIPTION: **Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of the HOME, Housing Trust Fund (HTF) and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) financed properties to assure compliance with applicable federal housing programs and loan management practices.  Responsible for providing technical assistance to development owners and management agents and auditing tenant eligibility under various housing programs. **DUTIES: **Federal compliance reviews, budget reviews, audit reviews, general loan management reviews.  Develop an overall knowledge of federal regulations and SDHDA policies and procedures pertaining to the HOME, HTF and NSP Programs.  Keep current on all updates and changes in affordable housing programs and requirements.  Review and audit program documentation on-site throughout South Dakota and in Pierre office. **QUALIFICATIONS: **Successful candidate must possess strong analytical and negotiating skills and an assertive attitude towards relationship building.  Must have a Bachelor's Degree plus at least two years professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in federal housing programs and/or multifamily property management preferred.  Must have ability to communicate professionally and concisely, both orally and in writing.  Individuals should be self-starters with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently and in teams.  Must have a valid South Dakota driver's license and have ability to travel. **LOCATION: **Pierre, SD (statewide travel required) **STARTING WAGE: **$20.84 - $24.67 per hour.
